Strategic Session for Developing the Concept of Memory Routes in Kyiv Region

"We continue to work on the creation of memory routes in the Kyiv region. At the initiative of the State Tourism Development Agency of Ukraine and with the support of the SURGe Project, a strategic session for developing the concept of memory routes in the Kyiv region took place today. Participants included representatives from the Ministry of Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the Kyiv Regional State Administration, the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, five territorial communities in the Kyiv region, the public organization "Museum of Contemporary Art," and the All-Ukrainian Association of Guides.

"Today, we are meeting for the first time in such an expanded composition. I am confident that together we can develop a strategic document that will take into account the interests of all stakeholders. When the time comes, we must be ready to tell the world the truth about this war. Our goal remains unchanged - through the sense embedded in these routes, to create a new system of values that will be a guarantee of sustainable peace," said Mariana Oleskiv, the Head of the State Tourism Development Agency of Ukraine.

We are grateful to the representatives of SURGe for their professional support during the strategic session, and to iHUB for their hospitality."
